GASBON METABOLISMは、おかげさまで4周年を迎えます。節目を祝い、今年も夏の恒例行事「GAS盆踊り」を開催いたします。
GASBON METABOLISM is turning four. To mark the occasion, we once again hold our summer tradition, "GAS Bon Odori."
今年は SAMPO（@we_are_sampo）が制作するスペシャル櫓が登場。盆踊りの輪の中心となる櫓でありながら、一日限りのインスタレーションとして新たな空間を立ち上げます。また盆踊りには、今年も北杜市文化協会の皆さまをお迎えし、会場で一緒に輪になって踊ります。
This year features a special yagura (tower) created by SAMPO (@we_are_sampo) — the centre of the dancing circle, and at the same time a one-day-only installation that opens a new space. As every year, we welcome the Hokuto City Cultural Association to form the circle and dance together.
地域の皆さまとともに、踊り、語らい、食べ、アートを楽しむ一日。アートと地域の文化が交わる、GASBONならではの夏の風景をぜひお楽しみください。

現在GASBON METABOLISMで展示中のアーティスト2名を迎え、ディレクター西野慎二郎とのスペシャルトークを開催。作品や制作、この土地で生まれる表現について語り合う、貴重な機会です。
A special talk between two artists currently exhibiting at GASBON METABOLISM and director Shinjiro Nishino — a rare chance to hear them discuss their works, their making, and the expression born from this place.
GASBON METABOLISMは、この土地に暮らす人々が育んできた生活や文化に触れながら、私たちが持ち寄る新しい表現や価値観を地域へ開いていくことで、お互いの営みが交わる場をつくりたいと考えています。過去から受け継いだものを大切にし、現在を楽しみ、未来へつながる新しい文化を育んでいく——。そんな願いを込めて、このお祭りが何十年、何百年と続く風景の一つになることを祈っています。
Touching the life and culture nurtured by the people of this land, and opening the new expressions and values we bring toward the community, GASBON METABOLISM hopes to create a place where our respective ways of living intersect. Cherishing what we have inherited, enjoying the present, and nurturing a new culture that carries into the future — with this wish, we hope this festival becomes one of the scenes that continues for decades, for centuries.
